Wescom Credit Union, based in California, is offering three types of savings accounts and two different money market accounts that have tiered interest rates. The savings accounts include a Regular Share Savings account, a Special Purpose Savings account and a Special Purpose Savings account - with $50 monthly electronic deposit.
The money market accounts include a TierPlus Money Market account and an Assest Maximizer Account (AMA) money market account. The Asset Maximizer Account (AMA) MMA has the best savings account rates and yields available at Wescom CU.

* You must maintain the required minimum balance of $10,000 in the Qualifying Wescom Financial Service Investment Account (QWFSIA) in order for the AMA to obtain the increased dividend rate stated on their Dividend Rate Sheet. If the QWFSIA balance falls below $10,000, the AMA will convert to a Tier Plus Money Market Savings Account and will earn the dividend applicable to that account tier.
