Chessie Federal Credit Union (CFCU) of Cumberland, Maryland, is advertising some of the highest savings rates on the credit union's Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA) and Educational Accounts. The current share dividend rates are at 2.00% with a yield of 2.02%. That rate blows the national average savings rate of 0.21% right out of the water.

Chessie Federal Credit Union is also advertising regular Share savings accounts rates, Moola-Moola Savings (children's) account rates, Christmas and Vacation Club savings rates which are all currently at 0.75%.
