Savings accounts are variable rate accounts, which means savings account rates can change at anytime. Unlike a certificate of deposit account which has a fixed CD rate that doesn't change. When opening a savings account be sure to choose a bank that has deposit accounts insured by either the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or the National Credit Union Administration. Start your search here for the best savings accounts and money market accounts.

Bank Savings Accounts

When opening a bank saving account make sure the bank has their deposit accounts insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
